Primary Care

Patient First Primary Care offers various primary, preventive, and urgent care services. Patients who require special care are promptly referred to outside specialists. Choosing Patient First for primary healthcare lets you visit any Patient First physician at any Patient First facility at any time for urgent medical care needs.

Patient First provides urgent care services for non-life-threatening medical issues and refers patients with emergency conditions to the appropriate emergency services or hospitals. Urgent care centers are open daily, including weekends and holidays, but are not equipped to handle life-threatening conditions requiring emergency room services.

If you suffer from a chronic health condition, like diabetes or high blood pressure, you can access Patient First health services at any time. It is advisable to get treated by the same primary care physician to ensure optimal continuity of care.

In addition, Patient First primary care services also include referrals by Patient First physicians for health problems that require special care. However, to receive this service, you must consult your insurance plan for exceptions to this rule.

Call the Patient First facility at least 2 weeks before your appointment with a specialist through your health insurance company. Patient First facilities also routinely administer Vitamin B12 and allergy injections and refer patients to an allergist for an initial evaluation. For routine injections, you will need to visit the Patient First facility.
